My journey into land and whitetails started at a young age.

One of my first jobs as a teenager was helping a local landowner improve his hunting property. What started as just a job quickly turned into something more. I began to see how a piece of ground could change over time—how small improvements could shape the way deer used a property, and how much pride someone could take in building something with their own hands.

From that point on, I knew I wanted to work with land.

​

The problem was, I didn’t know what that path looked like. I grew up in an area where it didn’t feel like many people valued land the way I did—or at least not in a way that could turn into a career. For a while, I followed a more traditional route and ended up working in finance, but I always felt pulled back toward the woods and the kind of work that actually meant something to me.

In my mid-20s, I made a decision that changed everything.

​

My wife and I took a leap of faith—we sold our home, left our hometown and our families, and moved to southern Ohio so I could chase something that wasn’t guaranteed to work. I didn’t have it all figured out, but I knew I had to try.

​

Since then, I’ve spent years investing everything I have into building this from the ground up.

​

Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of landowners—helping design and improve properties, walking ground with buyers to find the right fit, and helping sellers get the full value out of the work they’ve put into their land. Every property is different, but the goal is always the same: to help people make better decisions and get more out of the land they own.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned through all of this, it’s that I don’t need to have every step of the future mapped out.
